An Evening Beside the Sea

Background - We all have felt loneliness in our life at some point of time. This poetry portrays a lonely day of the poet with violin near a shore and how the nature reacts to the song.

Feeling alone in my old hut

I took my old violin to tune

And went towards the shore and sat

My violin tuned the timbres of love

The waves danced in the lonesome breeze

The new currents washed them awake

The descending sun smiled a bit

The swift clouds stood for a while

I saw the little birds on the knoll

Flying with the rythm of my song

Whom do I admire to love?

This different query confused the gang

The last patches of darkness fall

From the brush-tip of the great nature

The tall trees remind to will

By shaking their branches in the shivering wind

I wished to be in my knot's paradise

But the night came to play its game

And I have to go back to my village

Feeling weary, tired and left the shore
