Story of a Tie

Background - This poetry portrays the thoughts went through the mind one of my friend who often forgets his Office Tie.

I had a new tie…..
Papa bought me that Tie…..
Wore it on every Day
Stored it in Office bay

But it’s gone now
Of course I don’t have it now
Papa is not happy with me
Punished me stand on my knee

Has anyone stolen it?
No, I am sure about that
I think I gave it away
To someone special on my day

Oh my god! My mind is sharp
Got it! I cried scratching my back
Popped-up from my laundry heap
Looked around and my tie is back

A Voyage to Reality

Background - This poetry portrays the message of from a Captain. We all has to be leaders once in our life and we all want to lead a capable or winning team. But the true leader is the one who leads a bunch of losers to the victory stand.

I was on my maiden voyage
Behold the beauty and feel the scents
Of nature, the breeze and man-made monuments
With good dreams in my baggage

My thoughts spread across mingling and mixings
To share the dreams of one’s own life
The more all feel with full of happenings
Gained through the deeds as sharp as a knife

In the midst of my passage I met this lad who captained a team
He chose to master a blended theme
The theme that added true colors
To the dream of a bunch of repeated losers

Inspired from the Captain’s Message
Bolstered several lively thoughts
Of more than living a materialistic life
Let’s gear-up to cheer our realistic dreams

Remains of Love

Background - This poetry portrays the value of true love that can blossom many hearts even if the soul departs.

Many incidents comes on your way

And goes through your life

They doesn’t withstand for long

And parts you at the end

But the blossoms of love when comes

Fills in you and remains in you

And It never parts leaving you behind

That It remains with you forever

And when death touches you

Soul departs leaving behind the love

That others can perceive and feel

Through your deeds and memories left

Till the whole generations washes away

Nature Narrates

Background - This poetry portrays how different objects in nature blended to cast her true beauty.

The beauty lies in the eyes of the observer
It may be a bunch of green, blue and reds to us
Or a blend of trees, rivers and mountains to others
The beauty is always admired in its diverse nature

By diverse habits of reflecting light
The beauty of a dew can be visualized

By diverse habits the grass’ swirl by the wind
The beauty of a herb can be visualized

By diverse habits of inter-mixing clouds
The beauty of the Sky can be visualized

By diverse habits of dazzling water current
The beauty of a stream can be visualized

By diverse forms of mud, clay and rocks
The beauty of a mountain can be visualized

By diverse outlines of seven colors
The beauty of a rainbow can be visualized

By diverse habit of the hailing showers
The beauty of rain can be visualized

Care for the Elders

Background - This poetry portrays a true incident. This poet helps an older woman to cross the road and earns respect, blessings and a valuable smile. This poetry gives away the message that how caring one should be in terms of showing some respect to our elders.

When I’m lonely through the street
I behold an old woman
With wrinkled and gnarled skin
Pretending to cross the road
Her legs seems to be shivered
Her face seems to be disturbed
She stood impatiently nearby the road
Gazing at the dashing streets

Big duckers rushed smashing the dust
And small ones slithered on the crust
No one turned to help this needy
At her severe hours of agony

The anxious crowd moaned among themselves
They had no time to lend their hands
That they all moved away in no time
As they were not a part of this game

This sight and thought motivated me
To eject from the crowd to lend my hands
Old people should never be ignored
For they are the patrons of this land

I clasped her shivering hand in hand
Made her way to cross the road
The woman thanked me in joyous glee
This shed a lot more blessings for me

When this world will learn to share?
The old with their respect and care
Love and care resides in all of us
Just find some time to fill our hearts
With such thoughts and deeds of kindness

An Evening Beside the Sea

Background - We all have felt loneliness in our life at some point of time. This poetry portrays a lonely day of the poet with violin near a shore and how the nature reacts to the song.

Feeling alone in my old hut

I took my old violin to tune

And went towards the shore and sat

My violin tuned the timbres of love

The waves danced in the lonesome breeze

The new currents washed them awake

The descending sun smiled a bit

The swift clouds stood for a while

I saw the little birds on the knoll

Flying with the rythm of my song

Whom do I admire to love?

This different query confused the gang

The last patches of darkness fall

From the brush-tip of the great nature

The tall trees remind to will

By shaking their branches in the shivering wind

I wished to be in my knot's paradise

But the night came to play its game

And I have to go back to my village

Feeling weary, tired and left the shore
